Membership

The Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads offers membership in the association renewable on an annual basis. Membership in the association is $15.00 per year. New members receive the first year membership free. A membership application is available here for your convenience.

  • Quarterly Newsletter
  • Packet of information for new parents, including the book "Babies with Down Syndrome, A New Parents Guide"
  • Social events, including holiday parties, family outings, adult socials
  • Information about play/support groups in your area
  • Various educational programs throughout the year

     CHKD and Children's Specialty Group. Dr. Schneider's clinical interests
     are in echocardiography and prenatal cardiology.     
Paula Traverse-Charlton - is the Admissions Director, a behavioral      consultant, leads the Wellness Program, and facilitates staff training      for the Hope House Foundation. more
