Hampton Roads Holiday Party

Come Celebrate the Holidays with your newly formed VDSA Hampton Roads Family!

Come one come all to a fun festive holiday party with dinner, a cookie exchange, dancing, and dreidel games! There will also be a visit from a jolly old elf from the North Poll. A place to take pictures with Santa will be available. Must register at VDSA website below to attend.

Please bring some cookies to share if you would like to participate in a cookie exchange. We recommend 2 dozen cookies so there are enough for people to try a variety.

  • All individuals with Down Syndrome and siblings age 10 and under will receive a gift

  • Two (2) adults who live in your household or care for your loved one (outside the household) are invited.

  • Event is Free

  • If your child has food allergies, you are welcome to bring food for them to eat at your table.

Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk

Join the Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads as we unite for a common cause and raise funds at the 2023 DSAHR Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Help us spread the word; all are welcome for our day of celebration!

To get started, just select the "REGISTER" button to start a team, join a team or register as an individual. Additional family members can be added by selecting the green "Add Another Registrant" button during Step 3.  After you register, you can start your team or personal fundraising page by selecting the button: "Fundraising Page Set Up" at the top of the online receipt.

Returning Team Captains please note: in Step 2 of registration, you can enter your user name and password to have access to your team and donor information from the prior year.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can request them in this step. Click here for instructions.

If you can not attend this event but would like to make a donation to the Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads, please select the DONATE button. You can also donate to an individual or team by visiting their fundraising page under the TEAMS/PEOPLE tab.
